Traditional village house, completely renovated, situated in the quiet little village of Portell, municipality of San Ramon, in the municipality of La Segarra. It is a village of 100 inhabitants surrounded by fields and woods. This is in the middle of town just opposite the chapel of St. Ramon where there is a small garden with benches to relax. The building is divided into two houses totally independent. At the entrance of the house we have a community room with washer, dryer, a bathroom and a room where the firewood is kept. There is a shared swimming pool 5 minute’s walk from the house or the local town swimming pool in Sant Ramón (2Km).

The apartment consists of a single space, the living-dining room (with dining table, plasma TV, DVD and sofa bed) and the kitchen with gas kitchen, dishwasher, refrigerator and electric oven. From this room we have access to a double room with twin beds (can join) with a bathroom (with shower and hairdryer). It has air conditioning and central heating.

This region surprises us for the variety of activities on offer. The capital, Cervera (16km) is a city with a long history dating from the 12th century. The city lived its golden age in the 18th century when it had the honour of housing the only university in Catalonia. Among other things, visits to the university, the castles in neighbouring towns of Pallargues and Florejacs and the remains of the Roman town of Iesso (Guissona) are a must. Portell forms part of the municipality of St. Ramon, well known for its Monastery and Baroque style church, and also its Sanctuary, declared of Cultural and Artistic Interest in 1980.
