Set in open countryside the property is approached from the rear where the structure of the former bread oven and the well can be appreciated. Just before the house there is a small meadow ideal for the children to play, and an area to park cars. On the opposite side of the property we find the private swimming pool (3.5m x 7.5m) and a terrace where there is a covered porch with barbecue, dining table and benches. The roof of the porch incorporates three ceiling fans for those warm summer evenings. There is also a small closed chicken run from where clients are free to take fresh eggs. The house is surrounded by fields and woodland.

Set on two levels. On the ground floor, opposite the entrance, there is a large double bedroom set under an arched ceiling typical of many Catalan “Masias” (Farm houses). At the end of the corridor the former oven of the house can be seen and to the left a bathroom (suitable for the disabled). On the right the kitchen/ dining-room, fully equipped with oven, hob, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and TV. On the first floor a central living room with fireplace, sofas, TV, table and chairs. From this room the bedrooms are located. One double bedroom featuring en-suite bathroom, a double bedroom with an extra single bed, a further double bedroom and a single bedroom with access to a small terrace. One further bathroom. Central heating. Possibility of two extra beds.

things to do

The perfect place for enjoying walks in the surrounding countryside, cycling or mushroom picking. Recommended is a climb to the top of Pedraforca, the region’s emblematic mountain. Fishing and hunting also available in the area. A visit to the region’s capital Berga, with it’s historic medieval centre or Bagà, with its medieval walls, picturesque main square and church of Sant Esteve are both recommended. Barcelona 1h. 20 by car.
