The accommodation is part of a castle, dated from 950, declared “National Interest”. Privileged situation in the top of a small hill and dominating the environment formed by forests and fields. Nowadays, the castle is a property dedicated to agricultural land, livestock (cows and rabbits) and forestry. The lodging occupies the old tower, constructed in the XIII century and restored as a rural lodging in 2011, being the rest of the dependencies closed and without occupation; the outer patio has garden furniture (tables, banks…) and barbecue. Municipal swimming pool in Caserres and Montmajor. The house have farm animals like: hens, rabbits and even, a wild boar; the children can go to see, touch and to give them to eat.

The house occupies the totality of the tower and is distributed in three levels. In the restoration process, characteristic and symbolic elements such as the stone walls, the ceilings with wood beams or the great large windows have been conserved. Ground floor and in a single space, living room with chimney, TV, table with capacity for 6 people, open kitchen (microwaves, ceramic hob, furnace, dishwasher…)  and an attic with a sofa and small table to rest. First floor, room with double bed (possibility of adding an extra bed), bath with shower and a toilet. Second floor, room with two individual beds with (possibility of adding an extra bed) and a bath with shower. Annex to the house we find a room with washing machine and dryer.

The region of Berguedà is framed by beautiful mountain ranges in the north, where we can find the Natural Park of Cadí Moixeró, Rasos de Peguera, Serra d’Ensija, etc. On the other hand, the south of the region is flatter and small mountain range and where the river Llobregat is born and where we can find a great quantity of industrial colonies. Berguedà offers the possibility of enjoying its activities throughout the year. During autumn, you can look for mushrooms in its forest and enjoy the gastronomy of the region. In winter, we can play with snow, ski, excursions with rackets… in Port del Compte ski resort, in the Natural Park of the Cadí Moixeró-Pedraforca or in the old station of Rasos de Peguera (40-50min). With the arrival of the spring and the good weather, from the castle we can excursion by food or BTT. We can also practice adventure sports like climbing, paragliding, horse riding, etc. In summer there is municipal swimming pool in Casserres or Montmajor (about 13 km). Located between Berga and Solsona, we can also enjoy an interesting cultural offer: Solsona (cathedral, old town), modernist cemetery of Olius, Mountain of salt of Cardona, Berga (Patum de Berga, old town, Sanctuary of Queralt), Museu of the Mines of Cercs, Artigas Gardens in Pobla de Lillet, etc.
