Old stone house situated in the quiet little village of Joanet (30 inhabitants), documented since the ninth century has only a few houses scattered over a few streets and some scattered farmhouses. The village is surrounded by vast forests of oak andpine trees and is situated in the Montseny natural corridor Guillaries can enjoy a spacious and pleasant views of the mountain. The house has a private garden but has direct access to the courtyard of the old school, now closed, where a large tree and is equipped for younger children (columpios. ..) where you can set up tables, chairs and barbecue house and enjoy a pleasant view. Municipal swimming pool 5 km in the towns of Sant Hilari Sacalm and Arbucies.

Accomodation

The house is divided in two plants. We accede from the outside to the living room with a small round table next the chimney serves as nexus towards the kitchen, equipped with vitrocerámica and dishwasher to us, where we have an ample table for dinner, all this in unique an ample and pleasant space, in this level is a double room with bath. In the plant superior we have three rooms all of them with double bed, two baths and one thought room only to children (maximum capacity 5 children).

Things to do

Joanet is right in the limits of the Natural Park of the Montseny, reserves of the Biosphere, a mosaic of landscapes where we can find from the Mediterranean forest to the Central European; ahead same of the house the GR83 passes, a footpath that communicates Mataró with Prades (France) that allows us to realise pleasant excursions and to know this magnificent park natural. In the environs also we can enjoy an ample cultural supply and leisure; in Arbúcies we found the Museu Etnològic of the Montseny the Gabella, the Castle of Montsoriu i the Church of Sant Pere Desplà, the fairs of the Water and the Autumn and the Festival of independent music PopArb;  In Sant Hilari de Sacalm we can decide on the museum of mountains of the Guilleries, the artisan center of the Torneria or relax to us with the thermal circuit of the spa of Beautiful Font. Everything a fan of activities to combine nature, sports of mountain and culture all this hardly to 1 hour of distance of Barcelona.
