XVIII century property situated in the quiet little village of Orriols (161 inhabitants), the house has a capacity of 8 / 10 people. Beside the house there is a square with games for the children (swings…) and a basket / football pitch. Because of its peaceful nature, when the good weather arrives, the whole village is suitable for playing. The town is geographically located between the towns of Figueres, Banyoles, Girona, L'Escala which we can reach within 30 minutes drive. From the villa we highlight the medieval castle (S. XVI-XVII) with its remarkable Renaissance façade.

Accommodation situated in a quiet pedestrian area, the property is divided into two floors and a penthouse, each level has its corresponding terrace. On the ground floor there is access from the street to a spacious hall where there is a fireplace and a small toilet, then turn to the living room with sofa, a table where children can play and access to a large rear terrace, in one side of this room we find the kitchen / dining room and  the staircase which leads up to the first floor where we have a room with double bed, bathroom and fireplace, a bedroom with double bed and one bedroom with two single beds, these two last rooms share bathroom with shower. The staircase continues and leads to the penthouse which is divided into two very big rooms, one with twin beds and access to a terrace (10 m2) and one with a double bed, each with its corresponding bathroom.

things to do

This quiet town thanks to its strategic location invites us to make excursions to the most important cultural attractions such as Girona (Jewish Quarter, Cathedral) and Figueres (Dali Museum, Toy Museum) as they are not further than 30 km. The beaches of L'Escala (Costa Brava) are just 21 minutes away by car. If we are interested in nature we can visit the Natural Park of “Aiguamolls de l’Empordà ", the natural reserve of “l'Estany de Banyoles” or the “Medes Islands” a marine reserve in Estartit. We can not miss the opportunity to visit the most important Greek and Roman ruins of the Mediterranean West, we are talking about the former colony of “Empúries”. And all this without forgetting the great range of specialty dishes of these regions together with the excellent wines of the area  “Denomination of Origin Empordà”.
